COVID-19 Information for Saratoga County - April 9, 2020

The Saratoga County Department of Public Health today announced that there are 184 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Saratoga County and 10 of those individuals are hospitalized at this time.

COVID-19 Information for Saratoga County - April 8, 2020

The Saratoga County Department of Public Health today announced that there are 176 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Saratoga County and 11 of those individuals are hospitalized at this time.

COVID-19 Information for Saratoga County - April 7, 2020

The Saratoga County Department of Public Health today announced that there are 167 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Saratoga County and 11 of those individuals are hospitalized at this time. There has been another death of a Saratoga County resident who had tested positive for COVID-19, bringing the total to five. The 78-year-old man was a resident of Ballston Lake.

COVID-19 Information for Saratoga County - April 6, 2020

The Saratoga County Department of Public Health today announced that there are 163 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Saratoga County and 15 of those individuals are hospitalized at this time. Sadly, three Saratoga County residents who had tested positive for COVID-19 have passed away. This brings the total number of deaths of COVID-19 positive individuals in the county to four. New York State has reported another death, and the Saratoga County Department of Public Health is continuing to investigate that report.

The Saratoga County Department of Public Health today announced that there are 155 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Saratoga County and 16 of those individuals are hospitalized at this time.

The number of testing kits for COVID-19 in the area remains limited. Residents are reminded to contact their primary care provider if they are experiencing symptoms of COVID-19. A doctors order is required in order to receive a COVID-19 test, which are conducted in a clinical setting. The Saratoga County Department of Public Health does not conduct testing and can only order testing in limited circumstances.

The Saratoga County Department of Public Health today announced that there are 150 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Saratoga County and 16 of those individuals are hospitalized at this time.

The Saratoga County Department of Public Health today announced that there are 148 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Saratoga County and 18 of those individuals are hospitalized at this time.

The Saratoga County Department of Public Health is reminding people that the best way to stop the spread is to stay home.

The Saratoga County Department of Public Health today announced that there are 139 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Saratoga County and 19 of those individuals are hospitalized at this time.

COVID-19 Information for Saratoga County - April 1, 2020

The Saratoga County Department of Public Health today announced that there are 131 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Saratoga County and 18 of those individuals are hospitalized at this time.
 
The County Department of Public Health and the Sheriff’s Office continue to receive reports of people gathering in groups and not adhering to physical distancing guidance that has been issued by federal, state, and local agencies.
 
“People need to understand that they are putting their loved ones at risk if they contract the virus but are asymptomatic,” said Saratoga County Director of Public Health Cathi Duncan. “Everyone should avoid gathering in groups both large and small or meeting people in person whenever possible while continuing to practice good respiratory hygiene. This is a serious virus, it can show up as mild symptoms in one person and make another person critically ill. Everyone needs to do their part in protecting themselves, as well as others.”

COVID-19 Information for Saratoga County - March 30, 2020

The Saratoga County Department of Public Health today announced that there are 112 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Saratoga County at this time. the 112 cases, there are 16 individuals hospitalized.

There are reports that people are still congregating outdoors, at parks and golf courses in groups. Social distancing cannot be practiced while riding in a golf cart or gathering in groups. The Saratoga County Department of Public Health advises that individuals maintain a physical distance of greater than 6 feet, and refrain from sharing things like drinks or towels.

COVID-19 Information for Saratoga County - March 29, 2020

The Saratoga County Department of Public Health today announced that there are 108 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Saratoga County at this time. Yesterday, Saratoga County reported 110 cases, but upon investigation we learned that three of those individuals did not live within the county. There is one additional case of COVID-19 reported today. Of the 108 cases, there are 14 individuals hospitalized.

On Friday, March 27th, a 95 year old woman who had tested positive for COVID-19 passed away at Glens Falls Hospital.
